Fishing, Fishing and More Fishing in Australia's Northern Territory..
So you want to do some fishing or camping in Australia's Outback N.T.
You have come to the right place !!!
Whether
you want to go Barramundi fishing, game fishing, reef fishing or
just fishing for whatever comes along, Lorella Springs
Wilderness Park is a fisherman's paradise.
Fronting the Gulf of Carpentaria, just off the Savannah Way, Lorella Springs is a virtually untouched one million acre property. A dream retreat with a magical atmosphere of solitude and serenity.
Located 15 degrees south of the equator, in one of the remotest and most isolated areas of Australia or even planet Earth, we offer a superb retreat experience of an outstanding natural environment, with fish, fish and more fish.
CAMPING AT THE HOMESTEAD
If just camping and getting off the beaten track is all that you are after then the Lorella Springs Wilderness Park is just the thing for you. The homestead camping area is usually accessible in the dry season by conventional bush-prepared vehicles and caravans. The Homestead Park is situated on the Lorella Thermal Spring. There are many things to see and do around the homestead vicinity, or just relax in the wonderful, "healing, magic spring". There is plenty of good fresh water fishing and yabbying within close proximity to the Homestead.

Lorella Springs Station can be located by travelling along the Savannah Way in the Gulf of Carpentaria, Northern Territory. (NT). It is about 175 Km from Borroloola, and 145 Km from Cape Crawford.
Because of it's geographical position, it's size ( larger than many countries ) and up until recently, its inaccessibility, we have remained one of the World's most isolated, remote and untouched last frontiers. Huge chasms and gorges formed millions of years ago, wetlands and swamps teeming with life. Some of the best fishing on planet Earth and Adventure bursting at the seams. It's all here.
Lorella
is one million acres or four thousand square kilometres, with 20
kilometres of ocean frontage, hundreds of kilometres of river
systems, creeks, waterways, swamp lands and billabongs.

The campground at the homestead is situated on a beautiful natural hot water spring, just perfect for relaxing in. Travellers with caravans or trailers may choose to unhitch here before making their way 80 kilometres to the fishing camp and boat ramp, then down the river by boat to the open sea.
The spectacular River Rosie is boiling with life offering a huge range of fishing from the spectacular Pandanus lined fresh water billabongs right through to the Gulf of Carpentaria's tropical offshore reefs and rock outcrops that attract a vast range of reef and game fish.
