ALL ANIMAL and BIRDLIFE are PROTECTED and there is a VERY STRICT "NO SHOOTING " policy.
ALL FISHING is CATCH and RELEASE except what is to be eaten immediately and NO FILLING FREEZERS for later.
This ensures that Lorella will remain much like it is for many years to come.
The firing mechanism of all firearms must be left at homestead safe for all unescorted visitors leaving homestead area.

Please treat Lorella with the greatest respect.
Lorella is not just an overnight campsite. It is Australia's Final Frontier. It is possibly the most remote place in Australia, an unspoilt wilderness.
It is twice the size of the ACT, bigger than Sydney and all it's suburbs, bigger than many countries in the world.
When setting your itinerary. It would be wise to add not just an extra few days for your stay at Lorella Springs, but an extra few weeks, as there is so much for you to see and do.
A few new items to tell you about are the opening up of previously untouched areas such as Wildfire Gorge, Crystal Springs, Billabong Drive, Flying Fox Swamp, the verrry hot "Nudie ", unexplored swamps, lakes, and creeks just bubbling teaming bursting with wildlife, and new tracks to different parts of Lorella and the 20 kilometres of Carpentaria Coast that no one has ever driven to before.

You may love Lorella so much that you want to spend a whole season here. Season pass available.
Prior Booking Highly Recommended.
Although we reserve some campsites for weary passing travellers, to keep the Exclusivity and the Eco Wilderness feeling of this Way Outback Sanctuary, we try to limit the amount of campers and caravans.
All safari guiding $500 first person plus $150 per person per day. Overnight safari guiding $650 first person plus $250 per person. (All inclusive) Minimum 2 Persons.
Please note that all of Lorella is a Wilderness Retreat Sanctuary, and apart from what is to be eaten that day, everything is "CATCH and RELEASE UNHARMED".
